Of course you are. Cos GoodGymers always respond to the call!

On a Halloween Saturday, and with the greying skies the only scary thing in sight, 4 of us showed up to one of our favourite all-time tasks, the wonderful Ballast Quay Garden. To welcome us, there were Diane and Tom, the most amazing dog in the world! (Though I think all dogs are amazing.)

The task was to clear all the leaves that had fallen in the last few weeks, or at least as many as we could. Grabbing bags and rakes, or in my case bags and gloves, we started tackling the job. Amidst fallen leaves and branches, we chatted about the inevitable coronavirus, travels taken and postponed, weddings and runs. There was even chat about primary school teaching, courtesy of our resident teacher Natalie and Emma, the newest addition to GG Greenwich! Welcome Emma, everyone give her a cheer!

We were making good progress when the skies turned from grey to rainy, forcing us to a halt. As the first rain drops started to fall, we each said goodbye and made our way home. It was a great morning and I can't wait to be back soon!
