Where there’s a pill, there’s a way… just not this time!

So I had the task of collecting a prescription for Mr W. Nice and straightforward?

First issue was a went to the wrong pharmacy (why are there so many on one road?!) and after finally making my way to the correct one, I did not have enough information about Mr W to be able to pick up said prescription.

Cue a lot of ringing around with no answer from Mr W, and the referrers were not much help either. Apparently just a first name and an address isn’t useful enough to be able to find out more about him from the referrer or to find him on the pharmacy system!!

Still no answer from Mr W, so I decided to go to his flat to get the info in person. His flat was not easy to find, and thankfully a kind resident helped me work out where I needed to be. Finally made it, and despite knocking and ringing and waiting for ten minutes there was still no contact.

Sadly, this mission was not meant to be. I hope Mr W gets his antibiotics in the end, but they won’t be delivered by me.
