It was a complete bonus that Ms L had a shopping trolley, and a supersized one at that, because there were quite a few bags and boxes that she'd identified for donation to her local charity shop. With a bit of careful packing, and some not so careful balancing, I was able to get everything into or onto the trolley and steer it the short distance to the nearby Oxfam, who were very grateful for the donations. I retraced my route just to make sure I hadn't dropped anything en route and parked the trolley back outside a grateful Ms L's flat. Somehow I'd also avoided the rain too.
