Wednesday evenings at Salvation Army in Nunhead usually involves potato peeling or chopping, but this week I got a different vegetable.... Carrots!

I had to chop up about 100 carrots into small triangles as they need to cook/boil quickly before being added to the mince and onions for the Shepherd's Pie that they will make and serve tomorrow for 175 people.

Let's see what vegetable I'll be attending to next week 😊
