Five runners (and Fergus the dog) bravely faced the rain to help clear flower beds and memorial trees from evil bindweed and other botanical meanies in Meadow Vale Park. Miraculously, the rain stopped as we took up shovels, forks, and shears to complete our mission. We cleared an astonishing amount of bindweed, excavated daffodil bulbs, and replanted some of the legitimate inhabitants of the flower bed. We even spotted the extremely rare Bristolian brown frog. All rounded up with a lovely cup of tea and a party ring. Well done team!!

P.S.: I may have made up that frog species..
