Mission

Weed weren’t bamboo-zled

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.

Wow. What a lovely sunny and hot day for Mel and I to arrive at Mrs D house to help her tidy up the front garden area.

The area outside the front had also enjoyed the recent sunny weather and had become a little over grown so we set to work pruning, weeding, tidying and sweeping the area.

After a quick break for some welcomed apple juice hydration we continued with Mel tackling some rather unruly bamboo that had been sprouting up. It seemed to get everywhere.

Once Mel had tackled the bamboo and I had finished sweeping the path we said our goodbyes to Mrs D who thanked us for our work.

What a lovely mission! :)
