On a surprisingly mild Tuesday evening, three keen GoodGym-ers arrived at the TRAID charity shop in Lewisham ready to help out.

TRAID is a brilliant charity who work to stop clothes from being thrown away, turning clothes waste into funds and resources to reduce the environmental and social impacts of our clothes.

Our task this evening was to help pack away their current sale stock, ready for sorting in the central warehouse before re-stocking next season. We worked quickly, firstly taking all the clothes off the hangers, then packing them up into giant cardboard boxes. After just over an hour the shop was empty and we headed our separate ways.
