GoodGym runners Alex and Clo decided to start off their May bank holiday weekend with a sunny afternoon of helping Mrs J. She was unable to get at the weeds poking out of her garden, but thankfully they could.

Unfortunately there were no tools available. Thankfully however, Mrs J's garden was pebbled, so the weeds did not have long roots. As a result, Alex and Clo got to business picking out the shallow weeds. Clo also started on the task of removing the ivy from parts of Mrs J's wall. In the meantime, they discussed summer plans, future races and upcoming GoodGym events.

After nearly two hours, one full bin bag, and a cup of tea each, Alex and Clo stood back with Mrs J to admire their handiwork, before heading off for the rest of the weekend.
