Great turn out last night for our Danson Youth Centre run and task. The evening in Bexley was a lot cooler which was a real relief for everyone. As always we started off with the group chat and warm up before Susan headed out with the front runners. On arrival we had three areas that needed work. The back car park needed de-weeding, rubbish clearing and a good sweep. Leaving that looking brand new again we moved into the back garden. This required a good tidy up as well. The main effort was placed towards to bushes / hedges. They needed a complete short, back, and sides, and with the team we had this evening that didn't take long at all.

THEY NEEDED A COMPLETE SHORT, BACK, AND SIDES

It was during this that we found a football hiding in the undergrowth. This could only mean one thing. A quick keepy, uppy competition. The ladies kicked off, only managing two keepy uppys each. It was then the mens turn with Graham pulling off an impressive seven. However, not wanting my head to swell to much i smashed out a twelve. BOOSH!! get in. A i stood there waiting for the pats on the back from everyone i got the "did anyone see that" treatment. Very funny guys..........

With the back gardens now looking awesome it was time to head over to the front garden to trim back more hedges. We were treated by the first pickings of Blackberries which tasted absolute awesome. With this extra fuel on board we finally managed to finish all the tasks on time. We absolutely killed it tonight team!!!!!!!

After packing the tools away it was time for the mandatory photos. These obviously had to be taken in front of the St. Georges cross. It was also decided to sing out the "FOOTBALLS COMING HOME TUNE" (see twitter) which i must say on hearing the recording was very painful to the ears. We're definitely not a budding choir group.

WE'RE DEFINITELY NOT A BUDDING CHOIR GROUP

At Bexley Goodgym we always have to finish stronger than we started, its policy. So it was last one back gets 50 burpees. I've never seen people move so fast. See you next week Goodgymers...........
