It was a chilly night for an outdoor community mission, so we were glad that this one was an indoor one!

Emily, Karen, Nigel, Maurice & Nicola made their way to the task, some of us on foot, so were grateful that it was a dry evening.

Tonight we were helping to sort out a HUGE amount of donations that had been generously given by local residents. We have only been involved in a small amount of the sorting and it was in doing this that we really appreciated the enormity of the task. There were 5 of us for 2 hours and whilst we did make an impact, it was still only a very small dent in the amount of bags that have already been sorted!

Most of the clothes we were sorting tonight were children's clothes. Our task was to sort the good clothes from the not so good and then bag them into the relevant age bags. It was very satisfying when one was filled and put to one side as 'complete'.

It was a lovely evening in lovely company and there were definitely more than a handful of laughs along the way.

Well done team - another mission in the bag. Amazing work and amazing company as always!!!

See you at the next one!
