We can see all the plant beds along the way. Gone are the brambles that blocked the path. It's gonna be a bright, bright sun-shiny day.

It's great when a song so brilliantly captures a run. One example happened this afternoon when GoodGym Bristol runners Alex, Charlene and Richard arrived at Ms E's house to tidy her back garden.

After a horribly rainy morning, our three runners arrived to find a shed covered in vines, a garden path covered in so many plants that the path itself couldn't be seen, and brambles & budlia dominating the path & fence.

Equipped with loppers, a rake, a fork and some scissors, the three of them went to town. Overall, they managed to lop away the ivy, budlia and brambles, as well as clearing up all of the garden path. In doing so many many bags of plants and litter was filled.

Finally, our runners helped Ms E by relocating a fridge to make her way to the garden more accessible. The three of them then parted ways to get on with the rest of their weekend.

After such a rainy morning, it really did turn out to be a bright, bright sun-shiny day.
