Water wonderful place!

Tonight 4 gorgeous GoodGymmers gathered once again for some TLC at the Wishing Well allotment. The allotment is in the grounds of a local charity right in the heart of the town centre, so a little green oasis.

Last night Maurice and Nigel took to their favourite mowing task (although ‘No Mow May’ at the far end of the garden is proving a test for them both!), while Emily and Karen tended to the vegetable plot, picking out weeds, finding pesky rogue potato plants popping up, and watering. Everyone then joined together to tackle the weeds in the path. We’re sure someone is feeding them, Maurice definitely weeded this path last week!

We chatted, we laughed, we planned other jobs in the garden, and we left the allotment feeling happy with how good it’s looking. Sometimes we think the TLC here is as much for our souls as for the garden! It really is a lovely place to be, with lovely people.
