Mission

Vouchers and love advice

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

Left work a bit earlier today as I had to attend to Ms. A's shop. She lived just 2 miles away, but in an area I had never been to. Thus, it wasn't a surprise I was late by 5 minutes. Ms. A opened the door and sent me her vouchers and shopping list by WhatsApp.

I proceeded to run another 3k to the nearest Sainsbury's as that's where these vouchers could work. I managed to get all the items, but unfortunately had to pay an extra £0.98 as the vouchers did not cover the total. Yet, I was happy to pay the difference (Ms. A didn't have change) 😊

I walked slowly back to Ms. A's place as I wanted to enjoy the sunshine whilst it was still around. Almost two hours after I left my house I was dropping off Ms. A's shopping. We got talking and then started talking about my love life (non-existent)... I don't know how we got onto the topic... Anyway, she told me I had the body and the looks (thanks, Ms. A), but that I needed to act on my actions like I do with my volunteering (as I mentioned about my GoodGym "addiction"). I told her I just need more time to figure out me and she was all up for that, but her final say was "who knows what tomorrow will bring... How do you know you have the time that you think you have?".

Thanks Amy! I seem to be getting the missions where people want to give me advice 😂 is there something I'm missing? 😜
