Ady and I went over to help Mr W make his back garden safer for him. We tried knocking on his front door a few times and waited to be let in. Whilst waiting we discussed Kipchoge's chances of a victory at VLM which was taking place as we waited. Ady rightly predicted he would again seize victory. Good call! After a while we realised Mr W wasn't coming to the door. Not wanting to just give up and go home, I recalled an earlier mission I'd been signed up to, which had later been cancelled, which had more details about how to access the garden. A quick doubly check in my archive email and I realised it was the same address and same Mr W. So we promptly made our way, using the more detailed instructions, directly into his garden and called through an open window. Mr W eventually appeared but unfortunately it turned out he hadn't been expecting us and really needed to get more rest. To make the most of our visit there he asked us to make a quick audit of his garden before we left to see what could be usefully carried out when the mission is rearranged. It was a beautiful little back garden, and so pretty with the cherry blossom on the ground at the moment, and all it needs is a little tidy up. Fingers crossed we can rearrange this soon so that Mr W can once again enjoy the space.
