Unexpected Queue in the bagging area...

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

Everything was going swimmingly for Mr H's shop today until I joined an unexpectedly long and delay ridden queue at the Morrison's self checkout area. Rather like tailbacks on the motorway, there didn't seem to be any clear reason as to why everyone was taking so long to pay for and bag their items - I had a lot of sympathy for the poor staff member who was dashing between the machines like an overexcited wasp trying her hardest to clear the various issues and deal professionally with her "customers".

Thankfully none of this affected Mr H actually getting his weekly treasure of bananas, tinned peas, beans, sugar and porridge - and all for less than £5 too...perhaps that's why everyone's gone to Morrisons today.
