Jenni and Michelle met on a barmy Saturday morning in Ealing to help Ms C clear her garden of overgrown weeds.

Jenni made it her mission to run to and from the task to get back into running again and Michelle cycled.

Ms C’s garden has a number of rose bushes and red hot pokers, a spider plant and various others competing with sticky weed, dandelions, long grass and blue Alkanet. It will take a couple of missions to clear the weeds and give Ms C’s plants more room. She also has some bulbs she’d like to plant when the ground is cleared. Ms C‘s garden is a haven for bees, luckily for us we didn’t disturb them and no one was stung in the completion of this mission.

It’s been months since we did a task together thanks to lockdown so we made the most of catching up as the sun beat down us.
