Trimming in the rain

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.

Straight from the northern slopes, Sarah and I headed up the steps and across Knowle to Ms J's house. She was very surprised to see us as she was convinced that the little trickle of rain would put us off helping her out. Not a chance! After a brief chat we collected tools and took to tidying up the overgrown bushes at front.

Because of her tradespeople neighbours, Ms J found that between their vans parking on the street and the bush, it was almost impossible for people to get in and out of her garden. So, we got to work quickly, as the sooner we cleared up, the sooner we could go to our homes and dry off.

After 30/45 mins of trimming and sweeping up the mess, we had the job done and were on our way. Nice easy mission when there's multiple people working on the task.
