Treemendous Tree Planting

I planted around 20 trees in East Campus University of York, felt happy to spend my morning off like this! As a group, the team planted 250 40/60cm saplings in eight native species, protected by 60cm bio spirals and cane-plant @2 x 2 meters apart. Crab Apple, Downy Birch, Goat Willow, Aspen, Field Maple, Wild Cherry, Bird Cherry, Rowan. Planted 75 larger trees, protected from rabbits by bio-Nature 1.2m Tubex with a couple of ties and stake. Larger trees 90/1.2m in 2 species- Common Oak and Hornbeam
