This was my 6 month anniversary, volunteering with the RAF Association and their Connections for Life programme.
Every week I spend a couple of hours chatting with people with connections to the RAF.
We all feel lonely and isolated sometimes, and this service tries to counter than and make sure nobody ever feels alone or forgotten.
Volunteering with RAF has been a tremendously rewarding experience and I would heartily recommend them. I enjoy spending time with the people I support and over the last few months have become good friends and learned a lot about one another.
