Excuse the very belated write up of our visit to Ms M.

We arrived to a garden with a tale of two halfs. The left hand side had been immaculately tended too already, but the right handside needed a fair bit of work. Dave and I got stuck in using our hands to pull out weeds and to clear as much of the bulk as we could, Dave also pruned a plum tree. Ms M gardened too alongside us and it was lovely to have her help as well as her guidance on which plants she wished to retain. She warned me to look out for a toad that often visits and to watch out for thorny branches that she had laid down to deter a neighbour's cat.

Her garden smelt delicious as their were some really fragrant herbs around. I did admit to spending probably longer than needed weeding around the mint and heather just so I could get a lovely noseful of the scent.

We filled quite a few bags from the weeds we'd removed, and although we couldn't leave it as immaculate as the left hand side due to time constraints, Ms M was very happy with the work that we had done as it left it clear enough for her to be able to safely kneel to do some more fine detailed pulling out of the tiny weeds.
