Tiny Forest, Big Step towards Planting Day

Phil and Vic joined the Tiny Forest “treekeepers” in Ladywell Fields for an energetic session of digging, raking and incorporating a mix of straw and mulch into loosened soil – made much softer by the recent days of heavy rain. Thanks to the team’s efforts, the site to the south of the forest is now nearly ready for planting day in December, when a further 200 native saplings will be added to extend this important environmental project.
