Taking advantage of a welcome break in the showers, two of us made our way over to Poplar to clear Mr As garden. The back yard was hugely overgrown and we could really see progress as we cleared away nettles and hawthorn to reveal a lovely patio area and some plant tubs. We even got to do a little wildlife spotting as we disturbed a large toad that had been hiding in the undergrowth. A satisfying job, leading to three large bags full of chopped foliage and a newly cleared patio for Mr A, just in time before the rain returned!
