A pleasure to use my run today to help Mr R to tidy up his front garden which was covered in weeds.

Mr R struggles with his speech but we made a pretty good job of understanding each other and he found me a trowel and a hoe to set about the weeds.

Thankfully the recent wet weather meant that a lot of the weeds could be pulled by hand too.

Nice to get a pre-Xmas gardening mission in and great to have a laugh with Mr R despite the communication difficulties 🤗
