The Park(run) was blooming

Brad (and Fletch) and Elizabeth were the Goodgym Parkrun volunteers today with Emily Jonathan, and Bill running. We also met a red t shirt Goodgymer we thought was a tourist but on saying hello she told us she’s a new member, this was also her first every Parkrun, which think she enjoyed. Unfortunately, none of us remembered her name 🙈 so apologies, we will get it next time. It was a very muggy morning but plenty turned out to run/walk/jog the 5K. The PB bell was back, along with hand sanitiser which was rung a few times, but it’s not always about the PB’s it’s our own personal challenges, getting to each point along the course, and finally getting across the finish line, always to a rapturous welcome from both Catton Parkrun volunteers and other runners who always cheer those coming in after them. We love Catton Parkrun and Goodgym. It’s what we share, doing good and helping each other.
