The Lliswerry 3 do the Lliswerry 8!

On a sunny but bitterly cold Sunday in January, the Lliswerry 3, otherwise known as Emma D-B, Aimee and Ellen, met up in Newport for the first race of the new year: the Lliswerry 8.

This established road race is organised by the Lliswerry running club. And it is definitely a club runners race - but that didn't put off our intrepid GoodGym runners. Oh no, if anything they rose to the challenge, and each walked away with something to call a victory. And a fab long- sleeve technical t-shirt too - boom! What a result. Highly recommended - it's flat, it's fast but there is lots of support, it's well organized and its just enough to give most of us that 10% stretch we really need to get out of our comfort zones. Plus that long- sleeve technical t-shirt.
