The big sweepstake!

We met outside Ms. M's flat and was greeted by Ms. M who was already very grateful for us just showing up!

Ms. M set Mridula to work hoovering the hallway, bathroom and kitchen. I set to work sweeping the lino lounge and bedroom. Ms. M admitted she found it a bit tougher this year bending and reaching to manage domestics tasks around the home because of her arthritis. We were all a bit shocked when she told us she will be turning 92 this year as she looked rather youthful! She put it down to her 'Irish Genes' which I couldn't help but agree considering we don't get much sun it avoids the wrinkles I guess! 👍🏼

Ms. M was very helpful by offering us tea and coffee and invited us to sit down before we even started our work! We cracked on with the sweeping and hoovering and tried to reach every corner. Mrs. M's son was sitting under rather a lot of cash under his armchair upon accidental discovery... And a £500 specsavers monolopy money. What a catch!

Next we mopped the floors in a FLASH! 😁 Mridula is nearing her 200 good deed 💯💯 and was discussing the different gardening tools she has learned about since doing missions. Who knew one could have a solid conversation debating the different types of
secateurs and strimmers? 🙌

Ms. M was delighted with all the work and said the place looked a lot cleaner! She tried giving us a tip which we kindly declined and said she would donate it to goodgym instead! Thanks and goodbyes said we were off again.

Turned out Mridula and I were headed the same direction home as Mridula had an impressive mission number 2 today💪 a leisurely walk towards Burgess Park topped the mission off. Mission complete 🙌
