That's the way the Christmas cookie crumbles 🍪🎄⛄

Lucy and Sam joined Aroa and Mercato Metropolitano in the community team to help jump start their Winter Camp program. Day 1 brought 10 local kids to Mercato Metropolitano to join in the festive fun with some Christmas cookie baking. The team prepared a batch of gingerbread dough mixture which then the kids shaped and mound with the different shaped cookie cutters.

After the kid's cookies came out of the oven (took only 8 minutes), they started to decorate them with coloured icing paste and writing icing sugar. The organiser had enough dough to give to the children to back and make some more at home. The kids were finally treated to some Margherita pizzas to round up the session.
