Mission

Syca-no-more!

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.

Fiona and I met Mrs R to help her prune and cut back some unruly plants and bushes outside the front of her appartment.

We first started by trimming the Cotoneaster (bush with red berries) that had grown all around the window blocking the light. After dodgy the holly and other rather prickly bushes (that I can't remember the name of). We then went on a hunt to find the little Sycamore sapling - that was now growing into a large tree and which shouldn't be growing there. We cleared the way to the 'little' tree and Fiona gave it a good chop with the loopers. Hurray. Syca-no-more!

After a quick clear up and a sweep of the steps outside we waited for the rain to stop and said goodbye to Mrs R.

Mission accomplished.
