Super Food Bank Sweep

John, Jay, Becca and Trainer Simon made it to our weekly cleaning session at the Arc Centre, Islington. We discussed our entries for the GG Olympics, and what we were intending to participate in. Looking forward to it!

The team got to work with moving all of the donated produce of the floor of the main event space, and out of the kitchen, before giving the whole place a good sweep. Mop buckets were prepared in the meantime, and we mopped everywhere to keep the community centre looking sharp, and more importantly, sanitary. All the surfaces in the main kitchen were wiped down too.

Trainer Simon was asked to help with a little bit of joinery outside the hall. The Arc Centre have been constructing some large planters outside their entrance, with the intention of growing their own produce for the food bank.
