Sunday litter pick (me up)

We met this morning at a new location for GoodGym Newcastle at Colliery Woods. We did a walk in honour of the Jo Cox Foundation "Great Walk Together" and tied in some good deeds with a litter pick as we went.

I walk in this area every day and its a beautiful hidden spot full of wild flowers, rabbits and birds. Unfortunately its also a hot spot for teenage parties and litter is often a problem. We had a lovely catch up, a super welcome for new GG member Phil and filled three bags of rubbish along the way. Tanya found an UNEATEN PENGUIN BAR and was aghast at this crime. Thankfully the hilarious penguin joke got us out of that shock.

It was an instant mood-lifter.
