Southwark

Mission

Strim pickings

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

Having had some GG’ers at her place last year, Mrs R was keen for us to come do the business again. Armed with some basic tools and oodles of elbow grease, experienced missioner Frances took charge as project manager, raker and bagger while first-timer Lewis got stuck in with cutting the hedge. We even had time to give the lawn a quick trim too. Mrs R was extremely pleased with our achievement restoring some order to the garden. And we were extremely pleased she thought we were young enough to be students as we told her about our cultural plans for the rest of the day. And with that we skipped off our separate ways.
