Ms N must have used up the 1 kg of Tilda basmati rice I bought her last week because it reappeared on today's shopping list. She pointed out the last rice purchase was quite pricey as I had to buy it in a different shop than usual. This Saturday Ms N suggested I can get cheaper basmati rice if I find it in the supermarkets. I didn't want to compromise the quality though. I was lucky to find a 2 kg bag of Kohinoor rice in Sainsbury's for the price of 1 kg of Tilda! I thought it was not a bad deal, so I gave Ms N a ring to confirm whether she wants it. She did!

After visiting just the three usual shops: Sainsbury's, Co-Op and Indian grocery store I had everything and delivered the order just in time as Ms N started cooking dinner. The dish smelled great - quite the opposite to the smell of Ealing Common today (fertiliser?) - which I had to sprint through because of that fact.

It was a quick and easy Saturday mission which left me with plenty of time to chill in the sun in my local park in the afternoon.
