Five GoodGymers arrived at Chalk Farm Baptist Church on a bracing Saturday afternoon to help restock the foodbank after Christmas. We were expecting a big delivery from Tesco, so we started out by making some room upstairs for the new food, clearing out the empty crates.

Once the van with the delivery arrived and we’d unloaded the massive pile of good, we set to work getting it upstairs, eventually finding the perfect rhythm. As is becoming standard, Patrick provided some blaring 90s tunes to keep us going during the hard work.

Before too long, we’d moved all the food upstairs, and so said goodbye to leader Laura and fellow volunteer Harry. I’m sure we’ll be back soon!
