Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Sevan
Ms S was fed up. Fed up of mice in the cabinets. Fed up of mice coming through the vents. Fed up of her flat. She was part way packed for a future move that Ms S hoped would be coming soon. Joint pain stopped Ms S from doing many household tasks herself, so had asked GoodGym to help with disposing of belongings that she didn't need anymore.
As the mouse infestation (which hadn't been disclosed to Mission Control) couldn't be resolved, Ms S had stopped cooking in the kitchen. The first job for Sevan was to put on some rubber gloves and empty kitchen cabinets of cleaning materials and old Tupperware. Anything that could still be used to keep the kitchen clean was bagged and placed in the living room, while all other items were thrown into a large black bag.
Despite not being keen on her flat, Ms S was lucky enough to have 2 balconies. They were used for storage and growing plants, so the balconies needed to be decluttered too ahead of Ms S' relocation. Plants were to be kept, but broken plant pots, bits of wood and old slippers were to go.
Finally, to prepare herself for the move, Sevan carried some wheeled shelves into the living room to make it easier for Ms S to sort through herself. Sevan then scurried down the stairs to the waste disposal with 3 black bags and a piled high grocery crate to complete the mission.
