Ms F told me about the budget cuts she decided to make after no longer being eligible to get the carers' help free of charge. Today she's been rock'n'rolling without the carers for the whole day. She said she was going to cook on her own from now on. It seemed she was getting rusty, having just burnt some hot cross buns this afternoon. Luckily, I was there to restock them.

As Ms F is still recovering from her leg injury, the carers used to help with her shopping. With the careers' hours cut down, Ms F may rely on GoodGym deliveries even more now. She had always thought that GoodGymers' grocery skills were superior to the shopping done by the carers. But everyone makes mistakes! Ms F had one issue with her last week's GoodGym delivery: the Digestive biscuits came in milk chocolate rather than dark chocolate flavour. Ms F asked me to rectify the other GoodGymer's error and exchange the biscuits. Knowing how much time it took me to do the substantial Waitrose shopping a week ago, I suggested that we go through the essentials on this week's list first, then I would see if I could deal with the Digestives that Ms F didn't want to digest.

Today's list had a couple of Tesco items, so I was handed a Clubcard alongside the usual Waitrose card. Despite a trip to an extra shop, the groceries were lighter and easier than before - it looked like mine and the other GoodGymer's heavy deliveries last week left Ms F quite well stocked up! Feeling generous, I decided to do the bonus tasks in Waitrose: the biscuit exchange and the single-arm farmer's walk back with 12 litres of still water. Ms F was exceptionally lucky with today's mission: I found everything from the list and even secured the last four loose new baby potatoes - exactly the amount Ms F needed for her tuna salad!

Ms F claimed she had been in a miserable mood today after having endured 40 minutes of loud engine noises coming from behind her window when she tried to focus on business calls. Nonetheless, she said I cheered her up and seemed to be in good spirits when I was leaving.
