GG Westminster were in "High White-Spirits" as they made their way to Small Works painting task.

Find your pace group was the aim of the session. Warming up & completing the stretch in the glorious Green Park, the 13 strong pack began the challenge. Stepping up the pace to begin the weave through central london, the group moved, shoulder to shoulder, syncing strides as they pounded pavement.

Navigated by the fantastic Charlotte (now forever to he known as Tom Tom) a 5k weave past Buckingham Palace up to Victoria, we arrived at Small Works.

On a secret side street off Vauxhall Bridge Road, the basement beckoned and the group filed down the narrrow stairs, to the opening of the centre. Red walls, onimous guarded gates and a likening to London dungeons, needless to say the group felt a slight apprehension!! Then a door flung open and a wonderfully happy and breezy Steph greeted the group, phew.

Armed with white paint, brushes and the best undiscovered tool in the history of DIY ......The humble washing up sponge, The group were presented with.... The red wall...... With a slight false start due to the lid not wanting to leave its cosy position ontop of the paint can, transformation from dungeon to decadent began.

Splitting the group into painters and sweaters, a 1 min seated squat and stair run was introduced into the circuit. After everyone had sponged their efforts and squatted in turn, time was up and the wall has been transformed to a vision of white!!

Saying their heartfelt goodbyes.... To the sponges?!?!? Some of the gang just did not want to put them down...??? Pacing once again took centre stage, joined by double backs and tempos providing the last of the entertainment for the night. A final cool-down brought us to the end, hosted by the delectable Old Bond street, our path lit up by the glittering delights of Chanel & Dior window displays and Burberry Summer Dress Collection. Fashion-forward we went on, until we reached our home and the session was at an end.

Another fantastic evening, shared by the awesomeness that is GG Westminster!!!

DO GOOD. FEEL GOOD. INSPIRE.
