After being away for two weeks, I was shocked to discover that London has become a much greener and warmer place. I missed my missions a lot, so I booked two for my first day back. The morning one was for Mr R, for whom I have done shopping once before. Just like previously, I made sure I chose a picturesque route, this time alongside the canal. When I arrived, Mr R asked me how was my break. I also found out he didn't like the sponge I got for him last time. Well, I thought that sponge was incredible.

This time I cross-checked the contents of my list with Mr R to avoid the sponge situation or the confusion around the pitta bread I had a few weeks ago. I set off to Alperton's Sainsbury's, once again visiting the canalside. I must admit that store is well stocked and I always find it tempting to buy something for myself.

On my way back from the shop, I walked by the - surprise, surprise - canal! After I dropped the groceries bag at my beneficiary's doorstep, Mr R seemed grateful and didn't have any objections - maybe because he didn't inspect the shopping bag! Let's see what he says next time.

Volunteering at Gunnersbury parkrun
🗓Saturday 8:30am

This is a brilliant weekly 5k event run entirely by volunteers. Parkrun only happens when enough people step forward to help, so let’s show them the GoodGym spirit!
