Mission

Sound of the undergrowth

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.

The day was yet young, well... morning, when our two intrepid goodgymers set out. Lisa, whose first mission it was, managed to get in a 10 mile run and me a very much shorter one.

When we arrived the wonderful Mr B welcomed us and showed us to the garden. The instructions, to cut it all back a bit. Armed with a plethora of cutting tools we set to work... with the sound of the undergrowth...

Ooh photo, chop chop, phew, chop snip, hmm too thick, shuffle shuffle, natter, tea? natter, photo... yikes I look like that... delete!, snip, shuffle, rustle, done? Snip snip, selfie, wander, admire, photo, contented sigh. Knock knock, finished!

Just over an hour had flown by and we were done. Mr B was delighted and we set off home. Well done to Lisa on her first of hopefully many missions. Special thanks to my sister for the run title. Until next time.
