Solstice freedom run

We had a great evening running and/or walking on the super dark Maidenhead parkrun route decked out in all the fairy lights and tinsel. Well done to all the GoodGymers who came out.

Happy birthday to Nick and thanks to Juli for delicious beetroot and chocolate birthday cupcakes. Kudos to Amanda for running with a buggy containing Santa herself, and for excellent fancy dress.

Well done to Kanika for moving the dead squirrel - you're braver than most!

Thanks Lou for keeping me company when my injury forced me to stop after 1 lap. Great job Sara, Kanika and Diya for back-marking not just the GoodGymers but also the rest of the parkrunners, MAC members and friends, who joined the fun.

Also special mention to Sol for putting the Sol in Solstice!

This was our last group activity before Christmas. Hope everyone has a very merry time!
