Linda and Myself turned up with 3 others, 2 from Redbridge gardening gang and Rob from Redbridge council.

The task Rob set us was to remove sleepers by the entrance of the park with hopefully better access for cyclists. Linda got busy sawing the sleeper out, and I got swinging with a sledge hammer to remove a couple of blocks just inside the park. Both of us were exhausted, and very glad Rob brought some tea and biscuits for a break.

We was meant to do some painting but due to some light showers that was put on hold. The others did some cutting back of the trees and bushes and some good old litter picking.

When we were done, we found out it was meant to go on to 1pm, but we were told it was only going on to 11am, oh well.

We left after the tea break, and an afternoon nap was forecasted for at least 1 goodgymer.
