Mission

Singin’ (well, gardenin’!) in the rain

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Tower Hamlets.

On a rainy Saturday morning, 2 runners cleared up rubbish, raked leaves, and pulled out leaves to tidy up Ms Es front garden.

Arriving enthusiastic – if chilly and a tad damp – we got to work by clearing out the rubbish in the front garden. After Ms E kindly pointed out the tools available to us, we then cracked on with garden itself: sweeping the path, raking up the leaves, and getting as many pesky weeds out of the garden as possible.

The stats: 1 hour. 2 green bags worth of garden waste. 3 tools. A lot of leaves.

With Ms E pleased with our efforts, and the front garden looking a good bit better, it was a case of mission accomplished!
