Shopping for Mr J

Mr J can't leave the house so asked for us to do some shopping for them.

When I arrived, I tried ringing but the call was dropped straightaway - maybe because of the withheld number? They'd left a list on the door, along with a note saying how grateful they were!

Lidl didn't have everything so I had to make a few substitutions - tortilla for bread, hot cross buns for crumpets, chicken legs for a chicken. It's surprisingly hard making these decisions for someone you don't know! I also forgot a pen, so had to ask the cashier to write the total on the reimbursement form for me. Things to know for next time!

When I dropped the shopping off, I left it outside the door and knocked. They came out so I explained the substitutions (from 2m away) and they were very happy.

Job done!
