A lovely sunny day in Langham saw 7 GoodGymers shifting, sorting, lifting and cleaning at the Foodbank warehouse. Mike met us at the warehouse and set us to work! The first morning shift consisted of Ella, Tav and our two new Colchester members Rosie and James - welcome to you both! While Rosie and James set to work sorting and moving crates in the main warehouse, Ella and Tav did some sorting and shifting in the utility room, freeing up access to the much needed sink area. Plenty of heavy lifting and good use of our arm muscles! The second shifters were Ian, Nick and Phil who set to work on the cleaning - sweeping the floors, wiping the shelves and giving the food cans a good wipe down too. Meanwhile, our task organiser Vanessa was busy helping out at Colchester Foodbank itself, as she does every Saturday. A lovely friendly face for all who enter to be greeted by!

Well done all and thank you. Especially Rosie and James who did a fantastic first good deed for GoodGym Colchester. We hope to see you at another task soon :)
