Two hardy GoodGymers braved the cold temperatures to join Urban Green in clearin a very overgrown area right outside the entrance to Elswick Leisure & Swimming Pool. The task had been requested by the Pool staff because the dense growth was obscurin the Security cameras so, apart from being unsightly, it was a security risk. Mike, Robyn and Paul got to work right away (well, someone had to take the photos first !) and it wasn't long before the 3 degree temperature felt more like 30 :). The sun came out, the clothes came off (outer ones only of course). This was Paul's first GG mission so kudos to him for all the hard work and hats off for successfully "sawin" the big trees down when Liz wimped out. Sadly, it was also Robyn's last mission with Urban Green as she is headin off to pastures new (Somerset in fact). Best wishes, Robyn! A great mornin's work (and with thanks to Steve Wright for repurposin his Friday phrase)
