Mission

Serial thriller

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.

I headed to Highbury Fields to help Miss M find the serial number for her fridge.

Her fridge/freezer had stopped working and in order to get proper product support she needed the serial number which she'd been told was on the back of it. But it was planted firmly against a wall and rather hefty so she was unable to move it herself.

I was able to coerce it out of the corner and squeeze behind it to find the key details she required. Fortunately the serial number was there as expected.

Unfortunately the support line was closed for the day so couldn't ensure that it was all that required but she said that she would try them again tomorrow.

After an optimistic "turn if off, then on again" attempt by unplugging it at the mains failed, I wrote down the excessively long serial number on a post it note for her and hoping that will enable her to get it repaired or replaced shortly.
