Scammers be scamming

Mrs S was asleep when I arrived so I took her lunch dishes out to the kitchen to soak in hot water.

Once she woke up and came round she was updating me on her new steroid treatment which has improved how her legs look.

She also told me about a scam phone call she had taken in the week from somebody purporting to be from the police and telling her her bank card had been cloned. Being the sharp cookie she is when they said they need to phone 999 to sort it out for them she replied that she will be phoning 999 from her other phone at which point they hung up. Thankfully she did phone her local police station and they took details and put her in touch with Action Fraud.

It's incredible how low these people will stoop to try and scam money out of vulnerable people.

Before I left she asked me too switch on her two new light ornaments.

I also told her about my trip to Birmingham last weekend (which is where I met the giraffe in the photo).

Im not able to visit her for the next two weekends.
