4 GoodGymmers brought sparkle and made the event go off with a bang at the Guy Fawkes junior parkrun in our beloved park!

It was lovely to see Nigel at junior parkrun, gently helping with the set-up as well as being a course marshal. Emily, Maurice and Karen also made superb cheerleaders around the course, with Karen taking on the roles of volunteer coordinator and first timers welcome to make sure all the essential roles were covered and people knew what to do.

It turned into a beautiful morning with the sun shining, and 70 juniors ran, walked and skipped around the course - many of the juniors with grown ups too. It really is a beautiful thing to do on Sunday mornings, it fills your heart with joy to see the juniors having fun and staying fit.
