Ring Ring Ring (Ha Ha Hey)

As all our days are getting mixed up in this bizarre time, Sunday decided that it was going to be Friday on this community mission. That is because Ben was signed up to help with sorting, while Tousif was ready to take out food parcels for delivery. As on Friday, Ben found there were plenty of volunteers helping and took out deliveries instead.

Today, Tousif delivered to 11 addresses, a total of 15 parcels. His first delivery was to a tower block in Winson Green. He has found with the experience of many drops so far, that ringing ahead is very helpful. However, the first recipient wasn't answering the phone. Luckily they were only on the third floor so he was able to run up with the food. After a potentially difficult first drop, all of the others went as smoothly as this one did in the end.

Ben had 17 bags for 11 addresses, and some extra apple juice, lettuce, hummus and mushrooms in the refrigerated box to give out with each food parcel. Again, he found it was a well managed route. He took the benefit of experience, making a few more phonecalls along the way today.
