Ready for the Ready Meals

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in York.

I instantly warmed to Mrs J when she asked if I was still at university (NB: I left university a good 14 years ago). We chatted for about 15 minutes. She requested I go to Sainsbury's and had a detailed list with the main theme being ready meals.

Upon arriving at Sainsbury's the queue was very long. After a 15 minute wait I finally got in and managed to tick most of the items off the list. I had to reign the ready meals in - Mrs J wanted Taste the Difference, but at £3.50 a pop I couldn't get each one she asked for as well as the bread, ham, biscuits and tomatoes. Managed to get the total to be £20.05.

Mrs J thought I had been super quick, despite my queueing and she was very pleased that I had given up my time to help her. A very worthwhile mission.
