Rambling rose

On first arriving at Mr P's house to help with gardening, he asked me if I had any horticultural experience. I said no, but was happy to do some weeding and pruning to his instructions. It turns out Mr P used to work at the Arboretum in Kew Gardens and so for the next hour and a half, we went from his front to back garden cutting back an especially wild rose bush, an ash tree attempting to come back from the dead and a lot of watering.
